It’s Saturday and so many things are calling me. My messed up room with summer and winter clothes all jumbled together because I wanted to taste summer to the very, very end and then fall came on suddenly.
My house is whispering for a sparkle treatment, the deck and fountain need winterized, there’s computer work to do…and then there’s you I’m missing. I get withdrawals if I don’t connect with you, and so in all that’s calling me right now – connecting with you wins!
I just had to share some of my insights from this new adventure looking for signs of love. I marvel at the sameness in looking for hearts in nature or spontaneous hearts that show up – and looking for love in all of life and each other.
Here’s what I’ve found looking for hearts. It’s all in where you stand. I could stand in one place and move a foot – and what looked like a heart no longer looks like a heart.
Have you noticed? When you stay in your head, the logic, the irritation, the story, that we don’t see love.
When you move to your heart, look and listen from there … have you noticed that love is what you see?
When we look from our heart, we see the heart of another; when we listen from our heart – then we hear their heart, and when we speak from our heart, we reach their heart.
I’m learning our heart is the place to stand – the perception of love is so clear there.
